WEBINAR
Enabling a prepared education network for the battery ecosystem in Europe
In the ALBATTS Tour for Skills event for Italy, we presented the results of the 4 years of operation of our project.
This webinar was especially addressed to the Italian audience. It was organised in collaboration with IBIS Polo di Innovazione per la Chimica Sostenible Novara and Consorzio Scuola Comunità Impresa (CSCI) and supported by Sistema Poli di Innovazione Piemonte.
WEBINAR
IN PERSON EVENT
Navigating the Challenges of the Establishment of Large-scale Battery Manufacturing
The ALBATTS Tour for Skills event especially dedicated to the Finnish cluster was held in person within the Vaasa Energy Week 2024.
All details on topics and speakers can be found here.
WEBINAR
Trendy a vzdÄ›lávací potÅ™eby pro e-mobilitu a bateriový průmysl
This webinar was especially addressed to the Czech audience. It was held in Czech and, partially, also in English.
Webinar
Skills and Talent for the Green Transition - Boosting Regional Competitiveness
The webinar intended to promote a balance between different perspectives and endeavours which lead to a conversation around how skills assessment from the ERASMUS+ ALBATTS and the GreenSkills4H2 projects can be adapted to cross-sector green jobs. Thus, to see in what way education and skills development can add value to the skills that the labour market requires and how this in turn can contribute to increased competitiveness within the different EU regions.
WEBINAR
Towards a Functioning battery ecosystem - building knowledge and required skills
Organised in the frame of the European Sustainable Energy Days, this webinar gathered stakeholders aiming at a prepared education ecosystem, by assessing labour market required skills and developing knowledge adapted to a green transition and a growing EU economy.
WEBINAR
Skills Transition in the Battery Sector
The battery industry is a relatively new field in Europe. Can human resources from other and potentially declining industries be transferred to the battery ecosystem? Which industries are more similar and more prone to provide successful workers to the battery sector? What are the training programs already in place to ease that transition?
These and other relevant topics were addressed in this webinar.
SECOND LIFE & RECYCLING
Safe Recycling & Second Use of EV Batteries: Skills and Competencies Needed
The rising demand for electrified vehicles together with insecure sources are expected to turn batteries re-use and recycling in Europe into a key lever in ensuring constant streams, cost reduction and mitigation of risk around looming raw material supply constraints.
This event addressed this and other related topics, namely the ones on the skills and competencies needed to face the coming challenges in this field.
Maritime
Electrification of Inland Waterways & Future Qualifications Needed
ALBATTS INTERVIEWS
Future geopolitical challenges in the source of raw materials and the battery value-chain
Europe is going through a rough period where the supply of different materials may be at risk. How does it affect the green transition and the consequent need for skills and competent workforce? What risks can be identified in the materials and battery value chain in possible future crisis scenarios?
Aviation
Electrification of the aviation sector & future qualifications needed
This event was focused on electrification in the aviation field, and how can batteries be used to achieve lower emissions in these applications. It will also address the job roles & skills that will be needed to succeed in the electrification of aviation applications.
The webinar was primarily focused on drones and small passenger planes.
AUTOMOTIVE
Electrification of heavy-duty vehicles: what skills & competencies will be needed?
This webinar explored the electrification of heavy-duty vehicles, particularly battery trucks and buses. It also addressed the job roles & skills that will be needed to succeed in the electrification of the freight segment. Vehicle manufacturing, application of the batteries into the vehicle and servicing & maintenance were discussed, also from the user perspective.
